(Senior) Network Software Developer - Remote

Overview

Join our 1CORE team as a (Senior) Network Software Developer and contribute to performant processing and routing of our telecom UDP network traffic. This role can be located in Riga, Latvia or fully remote +/-3 hrs from EET.

In Short

• Write efficient and high-performance C code to process telecommunications network traffic.
• Develop Go code for telecom session management (no prior Go experience required).
• Implement new features and resolve software issues as they arise.
• Review code written by others and create automated tests to ensure the reliability of your own code.
• Participate in implementation-related discussions and decisions with Product Owners.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as IP, routing, and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with technologies like VPP, DPDK, or eBPF/XDP is highly desirable.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required for effective communication.

Requirements

• Solid programming experience in C.
• Experience with Go is a strong plus.
• Understanding of mobile telecommunications, particularly mobile core network architecture.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as IP, routing, and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with technologies like VPP, DPDK, or eBPF/XDP is highly desirable.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required for effective communication.
