Director of Operations for Commercial Photovoltaics & New Energy Systems - Remote

Overview

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the entire operational area of the company, ensuring that processes, resources, and teams are efficiently aligned with the corporate strategy.

In Short

• Overall responsibility for operational management and development of company processes from production to supply chain and logistics.
• Leading and developing leadership teams, ensuring efficiency, quality, punctuality, and cost-effectiveness remain at top levels.
• Driving Lean Management and Continuous Improvement while planning and controlling budgets, resources, and capacities.
• Implementing KPIs and performance reporting, structuring agreements, and ensuring operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.
• Collaborating closely with Finance, Sales, and Management to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

Requirements

• A degree in engineering, business administration, production technology, logistics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 8-10 years of operational management experience, with several years in a leadership position.
• Proven success in process optimization, production/supply chain management, and team leadership.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, combined with analytical and strategic thinking.
• High sense of responsibility and cost awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, and decisiveness.
• Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
