Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks across multiple platforms while acting as a technical leader and mentor.

In Short

• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with QA Leads and Product Owners to define automation roadmaps.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to QA Automation Engineers.
• Research and recommend automation tools and methodologies.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for complex features.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop clear reporting on test results.
• Promote coding standards and maintain documentation.
• Debug automation failures and implement fixes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years in QA with strong focus on automation.
• Knowledge of software testing theory.
• Experience building automation frameworks using Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Expertise with frameworks/tools like Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Strong understanding of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
