Category Manager with Czech or Slovak - Remote

Overview

As a Category Manager at zooplus, you will define and execute a comprehensive category strategy, collaborating with various teams to enhance business performance in the pet eCommerce sector.

In Short

• Define a holistic annual category strategy across key commercial dimensions.
• Work with Country/Cluster Head to align category strategy with broader country goals.
• Collaborate with central teams (VM, Marketing, CRM) to influence strategies.
• Analyze business KPIs and plan corrective actions.
• Recommend adjustments to local prices on brand/product level.
• Create a yearly promo plan aligned with category dynamics.
• Monitor campaign performance and track budget spend.
• Run promotions on short notice as needed.
• Contribute to product sorting strategy and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Graphics and Shop OPS teams for category-related content.

Requirements

• Experience in FMCG or e-Commerce, ideally in the pet sector.
• Strong commercial and technical skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
• Proficiency in English and native Czech or Slovak.
• Results-focused and hard-working attitude.
• High analytical and numerical competency.
