Senior Benefits Program Manager, Absence Management - Remote

In Short

• Lead programs related to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and more.
• Manage LOA vendor implementations and day-to-day vendor management.
• Develop and track key metrics on leave incidence and trends.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Translate complex leave rules into system logic.
• Support employee inquiries and compliance governance.
• Design and prioritize improvements to workflows and processes.
• Educate managers and employees on program resources.
• Stay current with leave regulations to ensure compliance.
• Support LOA specialists in managing escalated issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. leave and accommodation laws.
• Experience with leave-tracking HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and influence without authority.
• Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
• Experience managing external third-party administrators.
• Proven ability to scale processes in an innovative environment.
• Experience in LOA and disability vendor management is a plus.
• Familiarity with global statutory leave laws is a plus.
