Junior Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Zencargo is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our collaborative data team on a fixed term 9/12 month contract. This role combines analytical and engineering expertise to deliver actionable insights and improve supply chain data processes.

In Short

• Collaborate with Senior Data Engineer and data analysts
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Ensure high data quality, integrity, and security
• Build dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders
• Troubleshoot data-related issues
• Support in designing and maintaining data models and warehouses
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction
• Participate in evaluating data tools and architecture
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with strong analytical skills

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Experience in statistical analysis and predictive modelling
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel
• Solid SQL skills
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts
• Experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Basic Python scripting knowledge is a plus
