Actuarial Analyst, Reserving and Capital - Remote

Overview

The Actuarial Analyst, Reserving and Capital will contribute to quarterly reserving and capital processes, support regulatory reporting, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.

In Short

• Assist with quarterly reserving and capital reviews in line with UK GAAP and Solvency II.
• Support production of reserving documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data for reserving and capital modelling.
• Develop and maintain MI dashboards and tools.
• Support regulatory reporting tasks related to Solvency II.
• Collaborate with teams across Pricing, Finance, Claims, Reinsurance, and Underwriting.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in an actuarial or analytical role.
• University degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, etc.).
• Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, and Excel VBA.
• Interest in reserving and capital modelling.
• Good communication skills for presenting technical information.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
• Eagerness to learn and develop actuarial knowledge.
