Overview

• Develop and maintain an Android native app that interacts with Bluetooth-enabled hardware devices.
• Ensure consistent data flow by setting up robust data collection protocols.

• Work closely with hardware teams to enhance app and device communication.
• Diagnose and solve connectivity issues to improve performance.
• Engage in product refinement using user input and data-driven insights.
• Help expand and enhance app functionality over time.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Android app development.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK and adaptation across devices.
• Skilled in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.

Requirements

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs for back-end services.
• Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
• Experience with hardware-software integration projects.
• Knowledge of Android's lifecycle and design patterns.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Background in apps connecting with hardware components is a plus.
• Familiarity with wellness, fitness, or IoT products is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques for mobile interfaces.
• Experience with automated testing for Android.
