RF Engineer, DAS and 4G/5G Cellular Design - Remote

Overview

YRH Inc. is seeking determined and team-oriented RF Engineers for a permanent position focused on 4G/5G and DAS deployments in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

In Short

• Design RF, cellular, and DAS systems.
• Define requirements and conduct network analysis.
• Simulate using modeling tools like InfoVista Planet and Ekahau.
• Design passive and active DAS systems.
• Plan link budgets, coverage, and capacity for LTE and 5G networks.
• Create BOM and CAPEX/OPEX estimates.
• Draft functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct quality audits for DAS installations.
• Perform cellular coverage and performance measurements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
• 5 to 8 years of RF experience.
• Knowledge of LTE, 5G-NR, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Experience with modeling tools.
• Understanding of Ontario's telecom market.
• Project management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel around GTA.
