DFM Project Engineer – 3D Printing - Remote

In Short

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies.
• Aid production in troubleshooting order execution.
• Interface with 3D printing shops and customers.
• Expand capabilities of manufacturing partner network.
• Work with OEM equipment makers and internal experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering and manufacturing, specifically in 3D printing.
• Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Experience with suppliers and OEM providers.
• Familiarity with GD&T and inspection/QA practices.
• Proficiency in 3D printing software (Materialise Magics, Rhino).
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Ability to identify DFM issues from 3D models.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
