Overview

Parsons is looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to join our team! In this role, you will manage and coordinate the technical delivery of design packages across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery in line with client expectations and project goals.

• Manage and coordinate the execution of design deliverables across multiple projects.
• Support Project Managers and Design Managers in developing resource plans.
• Oversee preparation of technical documentation including drawings and reports.
• Participate in design reviews and technical coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance of designs with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor progress and performance of the design team against metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support resolution of technical challenges during design development.
• Promote digital engineering workflows and quality assurance processes.
• Assist with internal knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in design and technical coordination roles.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design packages simultaneously.
• Proficient in design and document control tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
