Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Products Support team, with a focus on requirements, modeling, and simulation (M&S), and V&V activities in support of missile defense framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) development.

In Short

• Develop and review missile defense system requirements for framework and CTM development
• Develop and review verification and validation plans for CTM development
• Draft and review technical documents
• Coordinate system engineering life cycle products and activities
• Support troubleshooting and develop solutions for framework and CTM observations
• Interact between the government and prime developer
• Analyze the integration of systems engineering processes
• Work with a diverse team of engineers
• Communicate complex ideas to non-technical trained people
• Support MDA’s ground test and flight test programs

Requirements

• BS degree in STEM field
• 7+ years of related professional experience
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS clearance
• Experience with Agile and SAFe software development principles
• Experience with M&S requirements development
• Experience with M&S development
• Experience with M&S verification and validation
• Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas
