Overview

The Design Manager - Architecture (Buildings) will lead the preparation and development of prequalification documents and RFPs to align with business strategies, ensuring successful project execution and stakeholder engagement.

• Lead preparation of prequalification and RFP documents.
• Develop Project Execution Plans for assigned projects.
• Engage with stakeholders and end users to define business needs.
• Evaluate design and consultancy service providers.
• Manage design and consultancy services agreements throughout the design cycle.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Review design reports and specifications.
• Support preparation of Contract Documents for EPC and Design Build contracts.
• Develop functional requirements and specifications for engineering projects.
• Coordinate engineering aspects of projects using internal or external resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Design Management.
• Some experience in UAE required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Knowledge of engineering software capabilities.
