Electrical Engineer - Rail Transit - Hybrid Remote

Overview

The Electrical Engineer will perform a variety of engineering tasks applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within the rail transit discipline, working both in the office and remotely.

• Perform engineering tasks utilizing CAD/CAE applications.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and construction documents.
• Conduct engineering computations and material quality takeoffs.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
• Provide guidance to CAD Designers and lower-level Engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, with 3+ years of experience.
• Electrical PE License required for advancement.
• Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office preferred.
• Part of the Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons.
• Salary range from $62,300 to $109,000 per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.
• Working knowledge of CAD and engineering software.
• Ability to travel to supplier, client, or construction sites.
