Senior Environmental Consultant - Remote

Overview

You’ll be part of a growing team, using your skills as an Environmental Consultant to address environmental and contaminated lands issues and grow the business in the Niagara area.

In Short

• Demonstrate a “Safety-First” focus and act as a positive role model.
• Conduct investigations and remediation works related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Manage and execute projects related to Site Assessment and Remediation services.
• Supervise and coach junior colleagues.
• Develop work programs, conceptual site models, and prepare proposals.
• Engage independently with clients and contractors.
• Prepare project documentation and coordinate subcontractors.
• Participate in client engagement and business development.
• Maintain excellent project records and adhere to industry standards.
• Some portion of remote/home work is available.

Requirements

• Bachelor or post-graduate degree in environmental sciences or engineering.
• Eligibility to be registered as a “Qualified Person (QP)” with appropriate certification.
• 10 years or more of relevant working experience in environmental site assessment.
• Prior field experience with soil sampling and remediation projects.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for light duty projects.
