Contract Manager - Remote

Overview

A senior role in which the successful applicant will be expected to drive contracting and operations initiatives, within budget, quality and safety parameters, across the Explorica & Perspectives land component portfolio.

In Short

• Drive and develop sourcing plans based upon business and department needs.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure tours run efficiently from an operations perspective.
• Find new suppliers and develop new products.
• Support groups and Tour Directors during tours.
• Process and pay supplier invoices.
• Report on contracted costs versus budget.
• Visit suppliers for safety and security checks.
• Manage booking requirements and track changes.
• Participate in tour development meetings.

Requirements

• Solid international buying and procurement knowledge.
• Second language preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Europe.
• Work experience in tourism or experience abroad preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned regions.
• Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.
