Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager at World Business Lenders (WBL) will lead the accounting department, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and overseeing financial reporting and variance analysis.

In Short

• Lead and manage the accounting department staff.
• Ensure month-end closing within 10 business days.
• Oversee variance analysis, financial reporting, and performance insights.
• Analyze cost categories and enhance reporting quality.
• Manage consolidated financial reporting including intercompany transactions.
• Partner with the Financial Controller and CFO for financial standards.
• Lead the Tax team for tax filing and manage relationships with tax advisors.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Apply knowledge of accrual accounting and relevant guidance.
• Monitor daily operational activity for accurate data flow.

Requirements

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP standards.
• Experience with tax filing and 1099/K1 knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Experience in financial analysis and performance evaluation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
• Experience with financial automation projects is a plus.
