EAP Counsellor (Clinical Psychologist) - Remote

Our clinical team offers counseling services worldwide, including telephone and video support, structured telephone and video counseling, and referrals to external providers or other resources.

In Short

• Provide telephone and video counseling and on-the-spot support in a supportive, ethical, and professional manner while respecting confidentiality.
• Refer clients appropriately to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach.
• Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in the case management system.
• Develop clear and concise treatment plans.
• Thoroughly evaluate clients to ensure short-term guidance is appropriate.
• Perform any additional tasks relevant to the role as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in clinical psychology.
• Registered with the psychologists' commission, clinical psychologist visa FOD.
• Possess good listening skills and be able to offer short-term clinical interventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused techniques.
• Ability to provide counseling in Dutch.
• Good command of English.
• Training or experience in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is a plus.
• Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse risks, crisis situations, mental health symptoms, and/or family/relationship issues affecting personal or work performance.
• Passionate about providing support and counseling, possibly to clients located anywhere in the world.
• Culturally sensitive in working with our clients.
• Proficient in using various ways for clients to contact us: phone, video, email, SMS, and live chat.
