Overview

Wood is recruiting for a Principal Renewable Energy consultant to join the advisory services team looking after Solar and Hybrid projects. The team are based in the Hamburg office; however, we recognise the value of remote and hybrid working so are open to applications throughout Germany.

In Short

• Project manage a portfolio of due diligence assignments for renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to produce detailed reports.
• Act as the main focal point for clients, addressing challenges directly.
• Develop strong relationships to facilitate project financing.
• Mentor and support the development of other consultants.

Requirements

• Experience in renewable energy projects, especially in solar and hybrid sectors.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent client relationship management capabilities.
• Experience in due diligence processes.
• Willingness to mentor junior consultants.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of global renewable energy trends.
• Commitment to continued professional development.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
