Lead Associate - Finance & Accounting - Remote

Overview

We are looking for accounting-oriented investment professionals who are highly motivated, enjoy working in a team environment, and desire to be part of a forward looking investment operations team.

In Short

• Responsible for accounting and administration of domestic and global investment portfolios.
• Interface daily with custodian banks and internal parties.
• Daily reconciliation of portfolio cash accounts.
• Completion of monthly reconciliation of clearing broker futures and options statements.
• Researching and analyzing discrepancies between asset managers and custodians.
• Preparation and review of performance returns for client portfolios.
• Creation of accounting reports to meet custom reporting requests.
• Identification of funding requirements for transactions.
• Assist in establishing operating policies and procedures for the team.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Bloomberg, Tableau, and Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of various security types including Government Bonds and Derivatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.
• Highly motivated and proactive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
