Overview

The Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging.

In Short

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations.
  • Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and interpret images.
  • Maintain excellent communication with patients and staff.

  • Required to hold a Massachusetts State License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Sonography required.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in vascular ultrasound.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver patients as necessary.
  • Knowledge of vascular ultrasound equipment.
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days.
  • Preferred certifications include RDMS and RVT.
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to patient care and service excellence.
