Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem - Remote

Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for providing quality patient care while producing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely using MRI equipment.

In Short

• Scan patients properly using correct technical factors.
• Prepare patients for procedures including transportation and positioning.
• Explain procedures to patients considering their needs.
• Record images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain pertinent records and documentation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with radioactive materials.
• Work independently and effectively evaluate problems.
• Guide, teach, and motivate patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Meet physical requirements of the job including lifting and standing.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) preferred.
• 1-2 years of MRI Tech experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and guide others.
• Physical ability to perform job tasks.
