Triage Registered Nurse, OBGYN - Per Diem - Remote

Overview

The Triage Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing patient care and support in a dynamic ambulatory care environment, specifically within four specialty practices focused on women's health.

In Short

• Per diem position requiring coverage for call outs, vacancies, and vacations.
• Responsible for phone triage and patient interactions.
• Conduct patient assessments and devise care plans.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control protocols.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• Preferred summer schedule includes a minimum of two shifts per week.
• Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid RN license.
• Experience in clinical nursing and ambulatory care preferred.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required.
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
• 1-2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
• Strongly preferred: EPIC Experience, OBGYN/Labor and Delivery Experience, Phone Triage Experience.
