Overview

The Staff Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering high doses of ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring accurate and safe administration of radiation therapy while maintaining quality assurance and effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with certificate in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Ability to demonstrate essential skills in treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of treatment policies and protocols.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting and patient positioning.
