Research Lab Technician I - Remote

Overview

The Research Lab Technician I will work with Dr. Emily Ferencz to investigate neural mechanisms underlying motivated behavior using various techniques and animal models.

In Short

• Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols.
• Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record and analyze experimental data accurately.
• Assist in data interpretation and presentation.
• Participate in weekly lab meetings and fulfill lab responsibilities.
• Manage mouse colonies and perform behavioral training.
• Learn and perform experiments independently.

• Prior laboratory experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1-2 years of prior laboratory experience preferred.
