Overview

As a Registered Nurse in the Short Stay Unit at Mass General Brigham, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing quality-driven, patient-centered care to individuals with an anticipated stay of 24-72 hours.

In Short

• Full time or part time hours available.
• 36 hours for full time, 24 hours for part time, with rotating shifts.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Responsible for interpreting medical care plans and providing safe nursing care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and administer medications.
• Consult with healthcare team members for patient care plans.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
• Must hold a MA Registered Nurse License.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Familiarity with practical nursing principles.
• Knowledge of age-specific patient care needs.
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
