Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborating with other professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.

In Short

• Responsible for patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
• Directs and coordinates nursing care based on clinical standards.
• Triage patients and provide ongoing assessment and interventions.
• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Licenses: Registered Nurse in Massachusetts, BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Critical Care RN and/or Emergency RN experience required.
• Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
• $2,500 Sign On Bonus for qualified external candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification needed within 3 months.
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months.
• Experience as Critical Care RN or Emergency RN required.
• Excellent technical and communication skills necessary.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to handle physical demands of the job.
• De-escalation certification required within 60 days.
