Registered Nurse - Childbirth, Nights - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

In Short

• Deliver patient care for childbirth and gynecological conditions.
• Work scheduled hours from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Coordinate nursing care based on established clinical standards.
• Provide family-centered care for patients in labor and postpartum.
• Interact with patients of varying intellectual and physical abilities.
• Must hold a Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Labor and delivery experience preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• NRP certification required within 6 months.
• STABLE certification required within 90 days.
• Labor and delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to perform nursing tasks.
