Overview

The Post-Baccalaureate Fellow will assist clinical professionals in providing behavioral and mental health services to patients in a hospital setting, gaining foundational experience in social work and behavioral health.

In Short

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring all documentation aligns with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with social workers, behavioral health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
  • Assist in crisis intervention situations, providing support to stabilize patients under guidance.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Experience or internships in social work, mental health, or a related field preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to provide empathetic care and support to patients.
  • Capable of assisting in research, data collection, and analyzing patient information.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility in handling a variety of tasks.
