Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Ortho) - Remote

Overview

The Physical Therapist will assist patients in achieving maximum physical performance and adapting to disabilities, providing exceptional care as part of a high-performing team at Mass General Brigham.

• Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance.
• Evaluate and interpret physical therapy evaluations and test results.
• Determine treatment goals and plans.
• Administer manual exercises and assist patients with activities.
• Complete billing sheets accurately at the end of the day.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust accordingly.
• Provide education programs for nursing personnel.
• Document goals and progress for reevaluation.
• Participate in quality improvement processes.
• Communicate treatment plans with patients and families.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Rhode Island.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience in completing an internship or apprenticeship program.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to teach and problem-solve effectively.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements.
