The Physical Therapist will assist patients in achieving maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities, providing exceptional care as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

In Short

  • Assist patients in restoring physical functioning.
  • Evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • Provide patient assessments and establish care plans.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as per regulations.
  • Complete billing sheets accurately by end of day.
  • Conduct in-service education programs for nursing staff.
  • Communicate treatment goals with patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and related accreditation requirements.
  • Engage in teaching and guiding patients in physical activities.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy required.
  • State license as a Physical Therapist required.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems.
  • Ability to teach and demonstrate physical therapy techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and case management skills.
  • Ability to document goals and treatment plans effectively.
  • Familiarity with patient care and rehabilitation practices.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting and mobility.
