Overview

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) will assist patients with daily living activities and perform essential health monitoring tasks as part of the care team at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

In Short

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Perform vital signs and document accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in patient care or elder care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• National Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient in electronic medical records.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
