Patient Care Assistant | Family Unit - Remote

Overview

The Patient Care Assistant will support licensed personnel in providing care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in the Family Unit at Mass General Brigham.

• Assist patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Perform vital signs and document them accurately.
• Interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Help patients with mobility and repositioning in bed.
• Report health concerns to nursing staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in patient care/elder care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient in electronic medical records.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
