Overview

The Mental Health Specialist provides direct patient care in a psychiatric setting, supporting patients through therapeutic relationships and crisis intervention under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Assists RN in providing direct patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Must complete Epic training within 30 days of hire.
• Physical stamina to perform job duties effectively.
