Overview

The Hearing Screening Technician is responsible for performing newborn screening hearing exams on all newborns prior to discharge, ensuring proper documentation and communication with parents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of experience in healthcare or conducting hearing screenings preferred.
• Familiarity with audiology equipment and testing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality regulations.
