Overview

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution, and service of food for Hospital patients, visitors, and staff.

• Attends department meetings and training classes.

• Works in various tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen positions.
• Assembles and delivers patient trays.
• Prepares additional food items for patient tray line.
• Assists with training of new employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to push trucks and carts with food and supplies.
• Ability to adhere to I C.A.R.E. Standards.
