Overview

The Food Service Worker at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is responsible for food preparation, meal service, and maintaining cleanliness in the food service areas. This part-time position requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to food safety standards.

In Short

• Part-time role with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM.
• Responsible for food preparation and meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Follow HACCP food safety standards.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays.
• Participate in department meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in training and cross-training of employees.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Adhere to I C.A.R.E. Standards.
• Must be able to push trucks and carts with food and supplies.
