• Position is for Per Diem Emergency Department Nurse.
• Must provide 16 shifts in a 6-month period.
• Work involves weekend and holiday rotations.
• Care for patients in a 21-bed unit with a 4:1 nursing ratio.
• Collaborate with board-certified emergency physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Must have a BSN and Massachusetts RN License.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• ED experience is strongly preferred.
• Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is a designated Magnet hospital.

Requirements

• Must hold a BSN and a Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are required.
• Emergency Department experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years telemetry experience preferred.
• Ability to function under stress with good observational skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills.
• Adherence to I.C.A.R.E. standards.
• Effective time and priority management skills required.
• Must show evidence of basic analytic thinking skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality, efficient care.
