The per-diem clinical research nurse practitioner is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team in the Neuroendocrine unit, supporting various clinical studies related to appetite-regulating hormones and metabolic effects.

In Short

• Collaborate with principal investigators and clinicians.
• Manage and coordinate study visits and data collection.
• Recruit participants for research studies.
• Screen research participants for study eligibility.
• Perform physical examinations and collect medical histories.
• Interpret studies and explain results to participants.
• Report adverse events and protocol violations.
• Supervise and mentor clinical research coordinators.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Experience with individuals with eating disorders preferred.
• Phlebotomy and IV skills preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on different studies.
• Willingness to accept new graduates.
