Overview

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist I acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborating fully with other care team members to assure continuity of care for patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
• Valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in Massachusetts.
• BLS and ACLS certification within specified timeframes.
• Minimum three years of catheterization lab experience preferred.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required within two years.
• No documented corrective action over the last year of employment.
• Experience with precepting new employees preferred.
