Overview

The Audiologist will independently perform comprehensive professional audiologic services for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss and diseases of the head and neck.

In Short

  • Perform diagnostic evoked response audiometry.
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and dispensing.
  • Evaluate cochlear implants.
  • Provide counseling, referrals, and rehabilitation.
  • Conduct electrodiagnostic evaluations of ear disease.
  • Monitor cranial nerves intra-operatively.
  • Work in a hospital or medical private office setting.
  • Engage with patients of all ages.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Contribute to patient care and research initiatives.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA.
  • Massachusetts license to practice Audiology.
  • One year of professional full-time work experience.
  • Experience with diagnostic audiologic testing.
