UI/UX Designer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for passionate UI/UX Designers who will provide remote support to ACT's digital transformation initiatives by applying user-centered design (UCD) practices throughout the software lifecycle.

In Short

• Support product teams by applying User-Centered Design (UCD) best practices.
• Engage with end users through the agile product development process.
• Establish feedback loops with customers to guide iterative product development.
• Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing.
• Create design artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on backlog refinement.
• Provide clarification to developers during implementation.
• Collaborate within cross-functional Agile/DevSecOps teams.
• Present and communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven UI/UX industry experience on complex web/mobile application design projects.
• Strong skills in user research and usability testing.
• Experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience producing wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Fluent English skills (verbal and written).
• Portfolio demonstrating past design solutions.
• Certification in UI/UX or related field desirable.
• University degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related discipline.
• Willingness to work in EST time zone.
