Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will join a fully remote accounting firm, collaborating with a team to provide accurate and friendly accounting and tax support to clients.

In Short

• Fully remote work from anywhere.
• Flexible scheduling with at least 50% overlap between 9am-5pm EST.
• Compensation ranges from $79,000 to $96,000 annually.
• Work closely with the CEO, bookkeepers, and clients.
• Review QuickBooks Online files and prepare year-end workpapers.
• Prepare and file corporate and personal tax returns.
• Support clients and teammates with QuickBooks Online.
• Communicate professionally with clients.

• Must be based in Canada with full working rights.

Requirements

• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Experience with Profile tax software.
• Corporate tax filing experience in Alberta and/or Ontario.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to support or guide others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Karbon, Dext, or CaseWare Cloud is a plus.
