Overview

The Investment Associate at Wintermute Ventures will focus on liquid strategies, leveraging expertise in crypto markets to evaluate and manage liquid token investments.

In Short

• Sourcing and evaluating new liquid investment opportunities across tokens and protocols.
• Developing investment theses through fundamental, quantitative, and on-chain analysis.
• Performing due diligence on investment prospects.
• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the existing liquid token portfolio.
• Contributing to the blockchain community and supporting ecosystem building.
• Assisting with administrative projects and coordination.
• Strong networking within the NYC crypto ecosystem.
• Constructing and executing derivatives strategies.
• Interacting with DeFi protocols and conducting on-chain analytics.
• Building tokenomics and valuation models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment research or venture capital.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and be self-guided.
• Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis.
• Relationship building and networking skills.
• Technical background or data science experience is a plus.
• SQL / Python skills for data analysis are preferred.
