Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician (NP) - Remote

Overview

Willow Health is on a mission to significantly improve access to high-quality, evidence-based intensive behavioral health care through their virtual crisis care program, providing immediate access to care for people experiencing behavioral health crises.

In Short

• Provide telehealth behavioral health care as a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop differential diagnosis.
• Manage psychiatric medication and treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Engage with patients, families, and community providers.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain patient documentation.
• Utilize validated clinical tools for assessments.
• Provide care for patients for 8 to 12 weeks.
• Build therapeutic alliances with patients.
• Work in a fully virtual role.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent.
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
• Active license to practice in New York.
• Experience in clinical assessments and psychiatric medication management.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care.
• Experience with clinical risk management and safety planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
