Head of Business Intelligence - Remote

Overview

As the Head of Business Intelligence at Whow Games, you will lead the BI and Data Infrastructure team, driving strategic decisions through data analysis and insights.

In Short

• Strategic and operational leadership of Business Intelligence and Data Infrastructure.
• Manage a high-performing team of Data Analysts, Analytical Engineers, and Data Engineers.
• Enhance the data and analytics infrastructure including Data Warehouse and ETL processes.
• Translate requirements from marketing, product, and CRM teams into analyses and technical concepts.
• Design and implement analytical models for player engagement and monetization.
• Build and maintain dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with C-level executives and various teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Initial leadership experience in interdisciplinary BI or Data teams.
• Deep understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong SQL knowledge and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Experience with cloud-based data architectures (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS, GCP).
• Ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Passion for games and understanding of player psychology and monetization strategies.
