Product Designer, Trust & Risk - Remote

Overview

Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, redefining e-commerce by blending community, shopping, and entertainment. We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Trust & Risk team, focusing on creating systems that protect and empower our community.

In Short

• Design tools and user experiences that help identify and prevent abuse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate policies into intuitive experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and final visuals.
• Contribute to the design system with a focus on accessibility.
• Use data and feedback to improve existing tools.
• Support internal teams with efficient tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience.
• Experience in trust, safety, compliance, or integrity teams.
• Strong interaction and systems thinking.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience.
• Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma, Protopie).
• Understanding of user experience design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
