In Short

• Join the Data Platforms team at Whatnot to improve core product experience.
• Design scalable solutions with the Trust & Risk engineering team.
• Contribute to the data platform architecture and best practices.
• Work on data applications for various use cases like machine learning and analytics.
• Optimize the entire data platform including real-time logging and analytics databases.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering required.
• Experience in Trust & Risk data in e-commerce or fintech.
• Ability to design risk-aware data models.
• Proficiency in data architecture concepts.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary.

Requirements

• Experience with fraud detection and policy enforcement.
• Track record in transforming complex data into insights.
• Proficiency in data engineering tooling.
• Self-starter with a high level of autonomy.
