Dutch Linguist - Remote

Overview

The Linguist performs quality control tasks and on-demand translation tasks, taking on linguistic lead functions on assigned projects and coordinating the activities of a group of translators while ensuring high standards and deadlines are met.

In Short

• Perform quality control and on-demand translation tasks.
• Coordinate the activities of translators for assigned projects.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in translation/localization.
• Fluent in English and native fluency in Dutch.
• Excellent user experience with standard software and TMS/CAT tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in training and coordinating translators.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a virtual team.
• Willingness to work during US PST hours.
