DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle using a variety of technologies and tools to build impactful software solutions, focusing on end-user efficiency and experience.

• Develop and maintain features and components of WellSky solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and participate in automated testing.
• Leverage AI tools for enhanced decision-making.
• Deploy new product versions using automation tools.
• Apply quarterly security patches and monitor system performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain system configurations.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with IBM i Operating System.
• iSeries and AS/400 System Administration experience.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Rocket LMi and Azure DevOps.
• Application development experience with SQL and PowerShell.
• Hardware Management Console (HMC) configuration and support.
• Familiarity with SAN replication methods.
• Experience in software development lifecycle automation for IBMi.
